Total Revamp and Start over on this site.
As of May 9th, 2011 I have acquired the update of Dreamweaver
CS5.5, and will be focusing on using HTML 5 and CSS3. Yes,
there are a lot of HTML editors available, and it is not required
by any stretch of the imagination, that every designer step
up to using the Premier editor. Saying that, as a designer
and webmaster, the number one concern has always been browser
compatibility. CS5.5 addresses that issue by using a css (cascading
Style Sheet) specifically sending older browsers to use a
stylesheet that helps in viewers ability to see a site as
it was intended. The really cool thing in the NEW Dreamweaver
is the ability to "Live View" your design in 3 views.
covering the small telephone size to the tablet and desktop
user.
I realize that this page is not friendly to all users, so
I am now able to take this into consideration. I will be sharing
tips and resources for the designer, as I work on this site.
Twitter followers:
Please, once you have added me, please keep
me on your account. I will not be posting every thought and
overwhelming your feed with nonsense. I don't care for that
much myself. I will announce important updates and articles
and giveaways etc. as soon as they are added.
ANYONE: If your in need of help or are looking
for a resource and can't find it, feel free to contact me
using my contact form,
Or on Twitter
by sending a direct message witch is the quickest way to contact.
Please be patient as this site is in the process of creation.
As each section becomes available I will announce it here
and on Twitter. Click the Follow on Twitter button in the
lower right corner of this page. This will be a great resource
for the designer looking for help in creating good looking
website's. I will be adding detailed information to this site
that I find useful in designing my other sites. Some of the
programming is for sale and I will be adding a lot of info
to help the novice for free.
Help with Site Optimization
As a website grows, the importance of a organized structure
becomes more apparent. I will discuss how to start off on
the right foot. I have seen many sites that have every file
in the root folder and they grow into a unmanageable mess.
Search engine optimization
Also known as SEO, is the process of improving the visibility
of a website or a web page in search engines. Begin by optimizing
all of your meta data on for every page. This includes: title
tags, meta keywords, meta descriptions, etc. Optimize all
of your links, in order to ensure that search engines can
properly navigate through them. Optimize all your images to
the smallest file size while retaining a high quality image.
Most search engines recommend a sitemap. I will have articles
on each of these topics in order that your SEO will work in
your advantage.
